The Saltbox Smokehouse
A rustic smokehouse & deli with cured and smoked products awaits you in apple country western New York. The Saltbox Smokehouse is located in Sodus, between Oswego and Rochester. Owners James and Sara endeavor to provide exceptional cured and smoked meat in one of a kind menu offerings. With over 15 varieties of bacon, it's undoubtedly the specialty throughout the menu...even as a takeout item from the deli.
Most of the menu items feature meats that are cured and smoked “in house” for eat-in or carry out. In addition to the standard menu, you'll find unique specials that sometimes may find a permanent place on the menu.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Our Part-time Food Service staff members have a thorough knowledge of our menu, take pride in every aspect of your work, engage with customers and have a commitment to outstanding customer service.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Prep food, take orders, handle customer transactions, maintain a clean work environment, re-stock inventory and other duties as assigned.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Great communication and customer service skills, reliability, ability to multi-task and prioritize, knowledge of/or ability to learn food safety best practices, good organizational skills and attention to detail. Prior retail or food service experience preferred. Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday.
