A rustic smokehouse & deli with cured and smoked products awaits you in apple country western New York. The Saltbox Smokehouse is located in Sodus, between Oswego and Rochester. Owners James and Sara endeavor to provide exceptional cured and smoked meat in one of a kind menu offerings. With over 15 varieties of bacon, it's undoubtedly the specialty throughout the menu...even as a takeout item from the deli.
Most of the menu items feature meats that are cured and smoked “in house” for eat-in or carry out. In addition to the standard menu, you'll find unique specials that sometimes may find a permanent place on the menu.

NOW HIRING! Come join our team at The Saltbox Smokehouse! We're looking for energetic, food service staff to fill part-time positions in a fast paced deli-style cafe.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Duties include food prep, handling customer transactions, maintaining a clean work environment, re-stocking inventory and other duties as assigned.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Great communication and customer service skills, reliability, ability to multi-task and prioritize, knowledge of/or ability to learn food safety best practices, good organizational skills and attention to detail. Prior retail or food service experience strongly preferred. Must be available to work on Friday and Saturday.
BUSINESS HOURS: Tues and Wed - 7AM-2pm; Thurs, Fri and Sat 7am-8pm. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
